Journee & Brian

Journee and Brian's wedding took place at one of my favorite venues- The Sand Bar on Anna Maria Island. The entire day was perfect... the sunny beach, beautiful people, cool fall weather, combined with lots of genuine love and laughter. It almost felt like I was inside a J.Crew catalog!

The vintage style dress...

The gorgeous couple...

Here is a shot of Dylonn, he and Journee work together at D.Cole Hair Design. He did an amazing job styling everyones hair for the wedding but apparently he needed a little help with his tie...

The flower girl contemplating her escape...

Beautiful blue sky!

Brian and the girls...

The kiss!

Congratulations to Journee and Brian!

Andrea & Brian

Yesterday I headed out east to the Christian Retreat Church in Bradenton to photograph Bryan & Andrea's Wedding. Here's a sneak peek...

This is Andrea, looking very elegant...
I just love the intensity of her expression in this one.

A very sweet moment during their first dance...

Congratulations to Bryan & Andrea!

Kemper Family

The Kemper Family wanted a fun portrait taken for the Christmas card. We had such a great time shooting these pictures. The weather is finally starting to cool down and the sunset on Siesta was beautiful. I am off to photograph a wedding this afternoon so check back in tomorrow for another blog entry!

Journee & Brian

Last Sunday I headed downtown with Journee and Brian to photograph their engagement session. Their vintage themed wedding is in November at the Sand Bar and I am so excited to shoot it!

We met at the Main Street bookstore so Journee could catch up on a little reading...

They both have such gorgeous blue eyes!

I think this image really sums up the chemistry between Journee and Brian... so sweet...

El Patio Latino

I photographed El Patio Latino for Industry Magazine... coming soon to an issue near you...

I loved this shot of the empty glass with the wine list behind it...
I even got to sample the food and wine when I was done with the shoot... delicious!!!

Campbell Family

The Campbells are friends of mine from the good ol' days of college at Ringling. Matt and his sister wanted to have a family portrait done for their parents who were visiting from Canada. We headed out to Longboat Key (my new favorite portrait location), and had an enjoyable evening shooting these portraits.

Matt and Yael with their beautiful baby boy Eitan...Eitan is one of the happiest babies I know... look at that smile!

Jill & Andrew

One of the things that makes weddings fun is that no two are ever the same. Jill and Andrew's wedding was one of the most peaceful and spiritual events I have ever photographed.

The church itself did not offer too many attractive outdoor locations. The day before the wedding I found a beautiful home nearby and asked if they would allow us to shoot in their backyard...
One of the cutest flower girls ever!

Jackson Family

A perfect sunset and a beautiful family! I just love shooting beach portraits...

Brittany & Kamal

FUN... Is how I would describe the wedding of Brittany and Kamal. They were married at their church in Bradenton. The Bride and Groom had a great group of fun loving and laid back guests and a great time was had by all.

The bridal party was up for about anything and they all seemed to love getting a little crazy in front of the camera.

The glowing Bride!

Rose Petals or Bubbles? Why not both?

AC/DC

I had the honor of being invited to photograph a private party where AC/DC's Brian Johnson performed. It was such an amazing night, with breathtaking views, fun people, and of course great music. Brian Johnson got the ladies to come up and sing with him by saying "Don't be shy, your mother wasn't!" Hah!

Lindsey & Brian

Lindsey & Brian were married in a beautiful rose garden at Leu Gardens in Orlando. The wedding was in the morning and the weather was gorgeous.

Lindsey looked absolutely stunning in her PINK wedding gown...

The bridesmaids were in white!
The elegant bride.. Do you think this flower girl knows how cute she is?
Finally, a chance to kick back and relax after the wedding!

Baby Lila's First Photo Shoot!

Baby Lila was kind enough to take a break from her busy schedule of drinking milk and sleeping to squeeze in a photo shoot. I thought she was just precious... and so very tiny! When photographing newborns I often find myself wondering what kind of amazing things this little person will accomplish in their lifetime...

Metz Family

The Metz family were on vacation at Lido Beach and wanted a family portrait. Everyone in their family was blessed with a gorgeous shade of red hair that I just loved! Did you know that less then 2% of the US population has red hair?
I asked Tyler to give his little brother Trevor a hug and he took the request rather seriously! After running around the beach all evening Tyler finally slowed down long enough for me take his photograph!

I made sure to get a shot of just Brooke and Fred. Maybe this is when the boys were covering themselves in sand?
