Heather's Senior Portraits

Have I told you lately how much I love High School Seniors? We had a lot of fun with Heather last weekend on Cocoa Beach... Enjoy!



I really loved this shot of Heather looking very carefree.. .
I am used to Sarasotas beaches so it was a nice change of scenery to see some sea foam and big crashing waves...
Then later this week I had an event, Pique-nique Sur la Baie (say that 5 times fast) at New College. This is a great event where the ladies all wear fun hats.



Saks put on a fashion show while the ladies had lunch..
I was stationed at the end of the catwalk and much to my surprise this man threw off his jacket, I am usually anti-speedo but I am reconsidering.

It would seem as though the more work I am doing the more blog entries I would have... its just the opposite. When I am busy there is no time to write! Heres a couple of the photographs from this past month, there are more to come! Keep an eye out for pictures of this years Film Festival as well. I will be photographing all the events starting next week, and rumor has it that Edward Norton will be attending. I am really looking forward to photographing the star of my all time favorite book/movie from my childhood... My Girl's Anna Chlumsky.. and Patrick Wilson from the movie "Little Children". If you haven't seen Little Children, go, its great!!

I started off the month of March with two great weddings...

Hollie & Chad who met while attending The University of Florida. The "Gator Chomp" made its way into lots of pictures and the color scheme had subtle hints of Orange & Blue... Go Gators!

John and Gentry exchanged vows at sunset at Sarasota Bayfront. The reception followed at Marina Jack's for dining and dancing. The couple was very fun to work with which made this wedding a blast! I am just finishing up their Digital Composite Album.. I love designing the digital albums, the final product is incredible. Here are a few of my favorite pages..

Jeff and Lynn

One of my favorite parts of shooting outdoors is scouting out interesting locations! I found these great spots in downtown Sarasota. Jeff and Lynn were a lot of fun.. they seemed to be laughing and smiling throughout the entire shoot which made for some great pictures.

Last night I met Mark, Nicki, Carter and Chase at Siesta Key Beach for a Family Beach Portrait What a great family... Carter, their oldest son was such a ham and baby Chase was very good and didn't cry the entire evening!

Amanda's Maternity Portraits

I just love this shot of Amanda on the beach. There is something about her expression that really illustrates the connection she has with her unborn baby. Heres the cool part: She went into labor the same night as the photoshoot!!

Circus Sarasota

Ladies and Gentleman... The Ringling Bros Circus has finally made its way back to Sarasota. My favorite part of the whole night? These gorgeous white horses...

This week I also photographed Tony Dovolani from Dancing with the Stars. He was performing at the Van Wezel for Annual "Gotta Dance" Gala and Concert presented by The Florida West Coast Symphony.. They make it look so easy.

Chad & Hollie

I had the pleasure of photographing Chad and Hollie's Engagement Session this weekend. We met at the charming "Park Ave. " in Winter Park. The weather was gorgeous, and Chad and Hollie were a joy to work with!!

AC/DC & Sarasota Golf Classic

I have been super busy lately and I have wedding this afternoon but I thought I would do a quick update! I had the opprotunity to photograph AC/DC last week! They were great and had lots of character. Also last week was the Carlton Fisk Sports Legends Golf Classic some of the people who attended were Wade Boggs, Tom Seaver, LeRoy Selmon, George Brett, Lou Pinella and Yogi Berra. I have to admit that most of these guys had to be pointed out to me but my husband was impressed (even if I didnt know who was who!) There should be lots more to come, December is a busy month! Maybe at some point I will actually get the chance to photograph my daughter for our family Christmas card ???

Lisa & Steve

Saturday morning I headed over to Safety Harbor Resort and Spa to photograph Steve and Lisa's wedding. It was a long darn drive but well worth it. Lisa is a New College Grad and Steve a Soil Scientist, they both had a great sense of humor which filled the day with lots of laughter. They even tricked their guests into thinking "Oompa Loompa" was their song! Take a peak..

Florida Governor Charlie Crists

Last night I headed over to St.Pete, the Vinoy hired me to photograph Charlie Crist accepting as Governor of FL. When I arrived there were 40+ news trucks, and I was told 1,000 people! This was really an exciting night full of anticipation as the everyone watched the votes come in..

Could this little guy be any cuter? We spent the evening at Bay Front Park chasing around Tate. I think the real show was all of us trying to get him to smile! Coming soon to a Christmas card near you...

Alex and Bryana had a charming, outdoor ceremony on Siesta Key Beach. Rose petals lined the pathways, perfect weather, making the ceremony sweet and unique. The evening reception at Marina Jacks followed. Heres a peak!
